Tales of Graces f

Producer of the Tales series Hideo Baba stated on the PlayStation blog that starting on March 26 they will be distributing Tales of Graces f  on PlayStation Network. They will have two versions of the game, first is the Standard Edition which will cost $34.99 and the Knight Edition which will cost $54.99. The Tales of Graces f  Knight Edition will come bundled with more than 10 DLC items.

Hideo Baba also added that the western release of Tales of Xillia is around the corner this summer; although, the date is not specified. He also said, “For the first time in the franchise, you’ll be able to select between two main characters and experience the game from two different perspectives. It’s up to you whether you want to play as the male or female protagonist.”

He also added, “Tales of Xillia is a culmination of all our development efforts over the years, so I can’t wait for our western fans to try it out. We have a lot more events planned until the release of Tales of Xillia, so I strongly urge you to come visit us when you have the chance.”

So there you have it. Tales of Graces f  on PSN March 26 and Tales of Xillia will be released this summer. Speaking for myself, I am more than ready for this summer.

Former Volunteer- My name is Theophilus Fox, I've been a gamer since as long as I can remember, and I also enjoy manga and anime. I'm a Nintendo fan, although I do not discriminate between franchises. I'm a guy who just loves to make jokes and generally have a fun time.

  • I hadn’t played a Tales game since Symphonia, but last year I played and finished both Abyss and Graces f, and had a blast the whole time. I’m really looking forward to Xillia.

Oh good. I’d seen this was announced for Europe, but glad to see its coming to the US too. This is one of the few PS3 games I’m planning to get when I get a PS3 after the inevitable price drop after E3. And I’m planning to do all of them as digital downloads if I can. Hopefully Tales of Xillia follows suit.

  • Damn, considering the total cost of the DLC, the Knight Edition will be nice to new-comers to the game.

2013 is the best year for gaming ever. JRPGs all over the place! It feels so good to be alive! Although I have a feeling we won’t have another Japanophile year like 2013 for a looooooooong time what with production costs ramping up for next-gen consoles. Developers and publishers will think even harder when bringing their titles state-side.

  • Summer cannot get here fast enough.

I’m still a little bitter that Namco didn’t release the Wii version in the USA. Considering that the dialogue was already translated, I can’t imagine that it would have required much of an effort to release both games.

Namco is a company of many disappointments.
