The most recent Studio Ghibli movie, From Up on Poppy Hill made its English language debut on March 15th. Miss it? Don’t worry, a lot of people did; the only theaters currently showing it are in New York. Thankfully, GKids has announced a lot more theaters than they did only a few weeks ago. For the most part, that covers a pretty good chunk of the US. I’m still waiting on an Austin date personally, but, if nothing’s announced in the next week, that Dallas venue is really tempting. According to their Facebook, we should be expecting even more venues and dates, so hopefully we won’t be waiting too long for those. From Up on Poppy Hill has a stellar 83% on Rotten Tomatoes; and judging by the trailer below, looks as stunning as anything we’ve seen from Ghibli. Still excited? Let us know in the comments.
