Deus Ex: The Fall

Deus Ex is one franchise that seems to be popping up quite a bit in the news as of late, with recent news revealing that a possible new title in the series may be called Deus Ex: The Fall. A series of tweets from superannuation reveals that Square Enix has registered domains pertaining to such a title. The domain, deusexthefall.com, as well as variations that include .it, .de, .net, and .co.uk, among others, were registered, once again raising speculation about a possible new entry in the series.

Of course, Square Enix also recently registered trademarks for Deus Ex: Human Defiance, which has since been confirmed to be a movie adaptation of the franchise. So this new domain could stand for something else entirely. Still, the fact that domains have been registered for both North American and European regions make it evident that Deus Ex: The Fall could indeed be the next title in the action-RPG franchise. Only time will tell if this happens to be the case, or if Square Enix has other plans for the series in store. For more news as it develops, keep it here on oprainfall.
