THQA month after THQ’s big auction of its top of the line game studios and software property, THQ has announced that the company’s remaining franchises will be up for sale as apart of a “court-approved sales process.”

Some of the series’ in question are Darksiders, Homeworld, Red Faction and Destroy All Humans!  The final bids for these titles are due on the 15th of April.  There will be six items in total for sale; four available individually and two in a bundle deal, one for internal properties and the other for licensed IPs.

Darksiders, Red Faction, Homeworld and MX will each be sold separately. Big Beach Sports, Destroy all Humans!, Summoner and more are included in the internal bundle.  Marvel Super Hero, Supreme Commander, Worms and more make up the licensed pack.

Although it is a shame to see THQ go down like this, it also gives way for other people to give their own creative spin on some of these titles; let’s just hope they end up in the right hands.

What do you think of these developments? Do you think they’ll be handled properly in the hands of new developers and publishers? Let us know below in the comments.
