Wii

Nintendo is providing the UK with a nice present for the start of spring in the form of the ever popular Wii Mini console.

Wii MiniReleasing on March 22nd, the Wii Mini is an extremely stripped down version of the Wii (as its name obviously suggests). The Wii Mini lacks the both the GameCube compatibility and network features of the original model Wii. In other words, its sole purpose is to play Wii games (unless said games happen to be available via the Wii Shop Channel).

The Wii Mini was previously released in Canada late last year at a cost of $99.99 CAD, and to some amount of scorn.

So, UK, how does it feel to finally arrive in the next generation of gaming?

Oh, and you don’t need to say it. As a Canadian, I’d just like to say…

You’re Welcome.
