Platinum Games, the developers behind Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, have revealed its plans for add-on content for the game. This add-on content comes in three packs each with its own unique content. The first of the three DLC packs to come contains 30 addition VR missions, and the Snake Soul wooden sword, which apparently speaks in the voice of Solid Snake. Well I guess that means actor David Hayter will be returning to Metal Gear, even though Snake was missing from Revengeance’s main story. It will also include a feature with side scrolling-scrolling objective and a fixed camera.
In the second pack, the main villain of Metal Gear Rising, Jetstream Sam, will be the star. Platinum hasn’t released any details but some images are shown of Sam fighting cyborgs and a Metal Gear Ray. The third and final of the three stars LQ-84i, also known as Bladewolf, Raiden’s robot dog companion. Platinum explains that playing as Bladewolf serves a deeper view of Rising’s world.
Platinum has not said when these DLC pack are to be available. Stay tuned for more details.
