At first glance, it seems to be rather trivial news that Project X Zone, soon to be localized in the US, is planning on retaining their full roster when it releases later this summer. However, when you consider other similar games, such as Jump Ultimate Stars for the Nintendo DS, never made it to US shores due to the huge amount of anime and manga properties included in it, your inner gamer should start to drool. While Project X Zone doesn’t have quite as many properties present as Jump Ultimate Stars, which had around 65 playable characters, it still boasts a respectable mash-up from 29 different Capcom series, Sega series and Namco series, with over 50 selectable characters. Further fanning the flames of this fan boy’s desire, Project X Zone includes iconic characters such as Ryu, Mega Man X, Dante, Jill, Ulala, Shinguji Sakura, Heihachi and KOS-MOS. When all is said and done, this gamer will be ecstatic when this gem finally hits US shores.
