Fire Emblem: Awakening

Do you hear that? That my friends is the sound of gamers, all over North America, wetting their knickers in anticipation for the release of Fire Emblem: Awakening for the Nintendo 3DS. Us Europeans and Australians aren’t jealous at all…. *sobs*

To keep the excitement going, Nintendo of America have released a new TV commercial for the upcoming strategy-a-thon and it’s all kinds of gorgeous. The serious voice over gives it a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ too.

Anyway, watch the trailer below, enjoy, and change your knickers whilst you’re at it… you dirty lot.

Fire Emblem: Awakening will release in North America on February 4th, 2013.

About David Rawlings

David Rawlings, or ‘Rawky’ as we like to call him, joined the Operation Rainfall Campaign at the beginning. He’s British and found solace with us as he was able to understand our pain about Nintendo and their localizing faux pas. He’s a big fan of the letter ‘U’ and refuses to remove them from words, even though we constantly ask him to. He also believes it’s about time Princess Daisy got kidnapped.

  • Is it February yet?

  • Hot damn, I love the artstyle in those cutscenes

  • Marth looks even more girly than in Shadow dragon in that one cut scene when he removes his mask. In fact Marth looks almost exactly like a girl at 0.09

It’s a girl dressed as Marth, Actually, sorry for my english.

    • Not a spoiler. I never said marth was a girl in this game or referenced anything outside of the cut scene that nintendo ITSELF provided. All I’m saying is that Marths design in this game looks really REALLY girly. If anything, you saying that my analysis of the trailer that nintendo provided is a spoiler is a spoiler of itself.

Nice trailer. I wonder what channels they’ll be targeting with this though? What demographic are they going after?
