Pandora's Tower

Pitching Pandora's Tower

You can pre-order Pandora’s Tower from Amazon right now. The price listed is $39.99 and they have the release date set at March 26, 2013. However, please keep in mind that this date may very well be a placeholder date, and as such, the release date could change. The listing does not show a pre-order bonus, but that would likely be added once XSEED announces if there is going to be one or not.

So there you have it folks. We said we wanted it, so now let’s put our money where our mouths were. Buy Pandora’s Tower and show companies like Nintendo that there is an audience for these games, and show XSEED that they will make money if they localize niche games like Pandora’s Tower, in the West. If we do, maybe campaigns like Operation Rainfall will no longer have to exist.

Alternatively, you can also pre-order the game from GameStop:

Amazon’s Product Features

  • Gorgeous visuals and full voice-overs bring to life the somber story of a cursed maiden in a mythical land and a former soldier’s desperate attempt to save her
  • The Magical Oraclos Chain is the main weapon that is also used to trigger devices to solve puzzles; bladed weapons are also critical during the fast and furious real-time battles across the Thirteen Towers
  • Elena’s physical appearance becomes more grotesque the longer it takes to overcome each tower, and Aeron’s interactions with her determine the strength of their overall relationship, affecting which of the multiple endings is earned
  • Materials obtained within the Thirteen Towers can be used to enhance weapons or fused together to create new items, which can be given to Elena as gifts to increase your affinity or be used by Aeron himself to assist him on his continuing quest

Amazon’s Product Description

Pandora’s Tower tells a haunting tale about a cursed young woman’s slow transformation into a hideous beast, and the lengths to which the man she loves will go in order to save her. Aeron must brave the Thirteen Towers, which are suspended in the middle of a valley by chains connected to surrounding cliffs, and use his magical Oraclos Chain weapon to retrieve “master flesh,” the flesh of the giant monsters that reside within each tower, which he must feed to Elena in order to reverse her transformation. Aeron’s interactions with Elena during their time together have a direct impact on the story, as the strength of their bond will determine which of the multiple endings is achieved.

  1. Not that it matters much, but XSEED types their company name in all caps. (Notice their official website for reference)

    1. I was basing it off their logo which they spell it XseeD.

But if the correct way to type it out is XSEED, then I will change it. Thanks!

  2. wonder why no one mentions that it will also run on wii u?
I guess maybe because its kinda a given, but it would clear things up and make people that only have a wii u more inclined to buy the game

  3. no limited or collector’s edition?…oh well…not gonna complain…especially since i was fortunate to order the european limited edition…thanx xseed!…thanx oprainfall!…]xD…

    1. I did the exact same thing (import limited edition), right around Christmas  while I was catching up on schoolwork, and haven’t had the chance to play it yet.  Still very glad we’re getting it and I’m going to buy it again, though I’ll wait for an official announcement on Limited edition and pre-order bonuses.

    2. I just posted a reply to Matthew but like I told him, you don’t have to wait.  XSEED is only going to have one sku when they put it out, so if they do it in a fancy collector’s edition, the copy you pre-order will be that.

    3. Actually Tom from XSEED said something to the point of when they release it, it’s probably going to be only one sku like the last story.  So if you pre-order now and they do a limited edition, you’re pre-order will be that edition.

  4. I really hope Gamestop doesn’t have an exclusive pre-order bonus. After buying the last 2 from Gamestop, I’d like to use Amazon this time (especially since I’ll almost have enough Amazon bucks to pay for it by the time it releases.
