Luigi's Mansion: Dark MoonContinuing their recent history of first party Sunday releases, March 24th, 2013, will see two separate second-tier titles within the Nintendo Parthenon released for the 3DS.

Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon a sequel to the original GameCube launch title, is a game we’ve been anticipating since E3 2011. Once more starring the second Mario Brother, wearing an upgraded version of the original ghost-vacuuming machine called the “Poltergust 5000,” Luigi will be exploring more than one mansion this time around, solving mysteries and collecting money and jewels galore.

As reported before, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity will be released the same day. For this title, more of the 3DS dual-camera system function will be used in-game, opening “Magnagates” which will blend gameplay into our real world, similar to Dream Radar.

Over on the Wii-U, Lego City: Undercover has an announced release date of March 19th. Exclusive to the system, this original Lego story is contained within an open-world scheme, giving chances for disguise and heavy vehicle use in the pursuit of the criminal element, both big and small. The 3DS version, Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins, releases on April 21st.

However, there are three titles that are still waiting in the wings. Game & Wario, Pikmin 3, and The Wonderful 101 have been pushed from the Wii U launch window, with Nintendo stating only that they “will arrive in the first half of the year.” We can only hope for more definite information in the near future.
