Congratulations to Namco Bandai not only having one, but two of their published titles being in the top three. With six new additional titles placing in the sales chart this week and one from last week, they practically dominated the Media Create sales chart. Impressive work Namco Bandai, especially with knocking Animal Crossing off its pedestal.

It comes to no surprise that Professor Layton Vs. Ace Attorney sold well for its initial release, as not only were the Japanese been hyping the game up, but so was everyone else in the world. Congratulations are in order for Level-5 and Capcom for having a successful crossover on their hands. We can only hope that with these good numbers Level-5 will be more inclined to localize the title for western audiences.

On the other side of the spectrum, UnchainBlades‘ sequel, UnchainBlades EXXiV, is not looking too good. Both PSP & 3DS sales fail to get any high ground like the previous installment, which is a shame. It seems more than likely that the game will be a weak candidate for localization, which is unfortunate for those who enjoyed the first game.
