Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

Exciting times for Monster Hunter fans as Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, which is due out for both the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U on December 10th of this year in Japan. North America & Europe will have to wait  until March of next year to get their hands on it.

In the mean time, Capcom has issued a new trailer to prep up hype for the Japanese release, but also prepared commercials as well. They comically uses Japanese word play for describing the game being in HD; it’s kind of adorable actually.

The first video is the new trailer.

Introducing Monster Hunter 3G for the Wii U. In HD, Monster Hunter is beautiful. You can transfer save files between your 3DS and Wii U and then play. You can play online on your Wii U. Monster Hunter 3G HD version.

The next video contains the two commercials.

Wii U Monster Hunter version.
The monsters are “really big” (HD pun being: Hontou – really; Dekai -Big)
VERY Flashy (Hijou – Very; Dohade- Flashy)
Heart racing (Harahara and Dokidoki mean this)
And the next two are just yells or cries people make.

Props go out to Jodie Langford for translating both videos.
