So, if you haven’t watched today’s Nintendo Direct stream, Reggie made a surprise announcement regarding the first of the three Guild-01 games, Liberation Maiden. It’s available today. As in, right now. For $7.99. The game was made by Suda51, the guy who made the incredible No More Heroes. In other words, GO TO THE ESHOP AND BUY IT! GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGO!!!!

Of course, that’s not the only thing we’re getting in this week’s Nintendo Download. We’re also getting NightSky ($9.99), which was published by the folks who published Cave Story as well as a demo Marvel Pinball 3D. We’ve also got 18th Gate for the DSiWare ($4.99/500 points).

On the Virtual Console front, the 3DS gets Castlevania: The Adventure for the Game Boy ($3.99) and Ghosts n’ Goblins for the NES ($4.99). Meanwhile, the Wii gets another Neo Geo title in the form of Shock Troopers (900 points).

On the DLC front all 20 of the new Grannie levels for Mutant Mudds are available right now for free, as well as two new Coin Rush course packs for New Super Mario Bros. 2. The Gold Mushroom Pack and the Coin Challenge Pack B are available today for $2.50 each.

Finally, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask will be available in both retail and digitally on the eShop this Sunday for $39.99. Don’t forget that if you buy it from the eShop, you can get an exclusive Club Nintendo code for Donkey Kong: Original Edition.
