Koei has announced the latest installment in the Dynasty Warriors franchise, but it’s unknown if the game is another spin-off/expansion or a true sequel; we don’t even know what platform it will be available on. Some speculate it could be Dynasty Warriors 7(or 8 in the West) or Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires (again 7: Empires in the West). With the announcement also came a teaser trailer on the game’s official website, which is also acting as a countdown for the game’s eventual big reveal, November 1st 2012.
It’s been a bumpy road for Omega Force games as some have sadly not been localized, in the past this was a different issue, but times have changed. The surprising act by Koei was that it was also posted on their Facebook, could this mean it has a 100% shot at localization? Hopefully we will find out soon enough.
