Sega has released soundtracks for Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Future on the American, United Kingdom, European Union, Norwegian, Swiss, and Japanese iTunes Stores. These are “SEGA Original Tracks” releases, meaning they consist entirely of music by the games’ composer, Hideki Naganuma. The Jet Set Radio soundtrack, however, retains “Everybody Jump Around” by Richard Jacques and “Electric Tooth Brush” by Toronto from the original 2000 soundtrack.
Each soundtrack costs US$9.99 / £7.99 / €8.99 / 95,00 NOK / 99,00 SEK / CHF 14.00, and each individual track costs US$0.99 / £0.79 / €0.99 / 9,00 NOK / 9,00 SEK / CHF 1.60. In Japan, the Jet Set Radio soundtrack costs ¥1,500, the Jet Set Radio Future soundtrack costs ¥1,800, and each individual track for both costs ¥150. Unfortunately for Canadian fans, neither soundtrack is currently available on the Canadian iTunes Store.
Jet Set Radio HD came out two weeks ago for the Xbox 360 (XBLA), PS3 (PSN), and Windows PCs (Steam). Operation Rainfall’s Clinton Nix was on hand with a review of the PS3 version. Sega will release a PS Vita version October 16, 2012. Sega originally announced iOS and Android versions for summer 2012, but they have yet to be released.
