Andriasang recently published a batch of screenshots from Dynasty Warriors 7: Empires, the upcoming second expansion to Tecmo Koei’s latest in feudal Chinese beat’em up action. The screenshots are a mix of early game scenes, menus, and gameplay, complete with a healthy dose of perennial series bulldozer Lu Bu.
The Empires expansions have always been more tactically-oriented than their parent games. With the sweeping changes made to the gameplay and presentation in Dynasty Warriors 7, DW7: Empires could be subject to a similar treatment, but its more strategic focus will undoubtedly remain.
