While little is actually known about The God and Fate Revolution Paradox, Nippon Ichi Software’s latest RPG offering, that hasn’t stopped the house that built Disgaea from teasing fans with the occasional tantalizing tidbit of information.

The most recent update primarily focuses on the in-game sprite work and character portraits for the game’s characters. Perhaps not surprisingly, NIS’ sprite work is as cute as ever. What is known about the game is that gamers will play as Renya, who somehow becomes a god and is tasked with making people’s wishes come true with the help of his angels.

The game will be released in Japan on December 20th. Plans for a North American release are unknown at this time. This year also marks NIS’ 20th anniversary.

I joined Oprainfall in August 2012 as a writer and reporter. After I proved myself, I became Review Manager and handled all reviews for the site. I then branched out and took over all PR duties for Oprainfall. Now I keep us in touch with publishers, obtain codes for official reviews, schedule interviews, and tackle other assorted PR responsibilities. I'll play anything, but I view new releases with a cynical eye.
