As you may recall, Ghostlight stated that they plan to bring console JRPGs in the PAL region to the PC. Well, that’s not the only console they’ll be bringing games to. Today, Ghostlight has announced on their blog that they’re planning to bring Crash City Mahem (Runabout 3D: Drive Impossible in Japan) to the Nintendo 3DS in the PAL region. This title is a bit of a departure from Ghostlight’s previous statement since it’s a racing game instead of a JRPG, but they aren’t too concerned with it.

“This awesome game might at first glance seem a bit of a departure from our usual games, but it still has a very Japanese feel to it. It’s pretty crazy, but great fun as well.”

I asked Ghostlight on Twitter if they plan to bring this game to North America at some point and whether it will be a full retail title or a downloadable title. The game will be available as a retail title only (at least in the PAL regions). As for whether or not they plan to bring it over to North America, the person I spoke with didn’t know. I hope they at least consider a digital release on the eShop, like what XSEED is doing with Unchained Blades.
