Sega announced they will be giving the HD treatment to another classic introduced in years past, NiGHTS Into Dream, and it will be available this Fall for Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and Steam. NiGHTS (Nights into Dreams… as trademarked) was originally released for the Sega Saturn, and a remake of the game was released on the PlayStation 2, but that remake was for Japan only; much to the dismay of fans. So like Jet Grind Radio, this is a fantastic way for gamers who didn’t experience these great games back then, and also great for longtime fans who can relive the memories of playing such gems.

You can buy the Nights sequel which is available on the Wii , from Amazon for only $10.59.

  • ]xD!!!…c’mon virtual on: oratorio tangram, power stone, panzer dragoon, and shenmue!!!…go sega!!!…

    • Actually, Power Stone was made by Capcom.

    • And Virtual-On: Oratorio Tangram has been on XBLA for 3 years now (no PSN or Steam love, though! DX). I’d love for the other two to get re-releases as well…

  • I’m very happy about this. I love the original, so it will be nice to be able to play the game with upgraded visuals.

  • I still connect my Saturn every now and again to play this game… It’ll be much easier to play now!
