XSEED has not only opened the official website for Unchained Blades recently, but has announced on their Facebook page the release date for the dungeon crawling jrpg game. Unchained Blades has quite the development team; the lead director is none other then Toshio Akashi of Lunar fame, the main scenario writer is Takashi Hino of Grandia, and there is also the talented composers  Tsutomu Narita and Nobuo Uematsu for the game’s sountrack. Illustrations for the characters are also done by famed artists who have done some fairly popular work you may have heard of.

Unchained Blades will be released in North America on June 26 for the PSP (PlayStation Portable) system as a digital download title on PlayStation Network at a price of $29.99! The 3DS will follow suit at a later date this year, which will also be a downloadable title on eShop.
