7. Satorl, The Shimmering Marsh/Night (composed by Manami Kiyota)

One of the really cool things about this soundtrack is how the music changes between day and night. Usually, the two tracks share at least something between each other. This isn’t the case with this particular track. It helps emphasize how much the area changes at night. All of a sudden, it changes from the average dank marsh/swamp music to something much more hauntingly pleasant.

6. You Will Know Our Names (composed by ACE+)

It’s time to ROCK OUT! The awesome music that plays during most, regular, boss battles; how could this not make it into our Top 10? The fast pace and intensity really amp up the feeling of confronting a screen filling nemesis and with the electric guitar dominating the piece its hard not to place your controller on the floor and start rocking out around your room. Less talking, more listening, hit play and turn it UP!!

5. Mechonis Field  (composed by ACE+)

The digital synthesizers in this track definitely make it sound like the kind of robotic and almost lifeless track that would fit with the world of the Mechon. Starting off in an almost dream like mood and gradually building to a collection of beats and sounds; that are very reminiscent of electronic music from the 80’s, it certainly gives off a chilling yet retro feel.

David Rawlings
David Rawlings, or ‘Rawky’ as we like to call him, joined the Operation Rainfall Campaign at the beginning. He’s British and found solace with us as he was able to understand our pain about Nintendo and their localizing faux pas. He’s a big fan of the letter ‘U’ and refuses to remove them from words, even though we constantly ask him to. He also believes it’s about time Princess Daisy got kidnapped.
