1. Watch Dogs

Watch_Dogs - Top Games of E3 2012Yes, you’ve read that correctly. Our No 1 game of E3 2012 is not a niche, Japanese, quirky title, but a brand new, gritty looking IP from Ubisoft. Watch Dogs unveiling surprised a lot of people at E3, and certainly caught our interest. The short demo on stage got tongues wagging and dropped jaws as we witnessed the playable character, in a GTA-style environment, using his mobile phone to hack pretty much all electrical devices around him. Depleting nearby phone receptions, tapping into other people’s phones and even causing a major pile up by messing with some traffic lights. It certainly was the star of the show and had us salivating for more information about it.

Welcome to the No 1 spot Watch Dogs, you’ve earned it.

So there you go. Operation Rainfall’s Top 10 Games of E3 2012. Any surprises? Any you strongly disagree with? Let us know in the comments below. We read every single one.

David Rawlings
David Rawlings, or ‘Rawky’ as we like to call him, joined the Operation Rainfall Campaign at the beginning. He’s British and found solace with us as he was able to understand our pain about Nintendo and their localizing faux pas. He’s a big fan of the letter ‘U’ and refuses to remove them from words, even though we constantly ask him to. He also believes it’s about time Princess Daisy got kidnapped.
