There was a lot of new info released in last night’s Nintendo Direct, and if the “Miiverse” and “Mii Wara Wara” segments are taken at face value, a new game may have been teased as well.

Represented by a “Boo” character icon, the game is titled Chase, and messages posted by supposed players of the game may hint at what it involves (If it exists).

If real, the game seems to be playable by up to five people, and may be based on a game of hide-and –seek. One message mentions “[getting] away from the flashlight if [the player hides] in the corners,” while another suggests “[working] with your partners to chase the ghost into the corner.” Taken together, these seem to point to a game in which one player plays as a Boo, while the others attempt to find them.

This concept would match up quite well with Nintendo’s “Asymmetrical Multiplayer” concept, and it sounds very similar to some Nintendo’s previously showcased Wii U demoes, such as Find Mii, so it certainly could be real.
