Sony has released a demo of Gravity Rush for the PlayStation Vita in North America today. The demo will be available in Europe tomorrow, May 30th.

Gravity Rush was directed by Keiichiro Toyama of Silent Hill and Siren fame. He stated that it was inspired by open-world games like Crackdown. As far as the art direction goes, the world was inspired by French comics he read when he was younger, while the characters were inspired by American comics and anime.

Pre-ordering the game now from either GameStop or Amazon will allow you to receive the Military DLC pack for the game, including a military outfit for the main character Kat, two challenge races, and two other missions. The full game will be released on June 12th in North America and June 13th in Europe.
