UPDATE:  Natsume has finally revealed Harvest Moon: A New Beginning as the game that they were teasing.  According to Natsume’s Facebook and Twitter page, the game will be released for the Nintendo 3DS, and will be on display at E3 this year with pictures and gameplay details.

Check back at Operation Rainfall during E3 for more news on Harvest Moon: A New Beginning.
———-

Original Story:

The game will be announced next week, but Natsume Inc has released a few hints throughout the week, through Natsume Inc.’s Twitter. Each new hint expands on the former hint. All the hints so far, are as follows:

The announcement will relate to a series…in which there are at least 3 previous entries…that Natsume (Inc.) published in North America”, and their latest hint is a bit obscure, and this is what it says:

“C_s__m_z____n i_ Ki__”.

Can you guess what it might be in the comments?

  • Personally myself I’d like to see another Lufia game but another Harvest Moon or Rune Factory wouldn’t be bad either.

  • It’s probably Rune Factory 4 (I don’t believe that one’s been announced for North America yet).  Not sure what the last hint (the “fill in the blanks” bit) has to do with it, though…

  • “Customization is King”?

  • Yeah I have to go with David here.  Customization is King is the most likely phrase that fits.

This is a list of all Natsume published and developed games.  Looking at it, you could probably tell which series the new game will be from.

At the same time, looking at this list has made me remember Lufia I & II, and I wish Natsume would make another sometime.
