Xenoblade Chronicles has reached 207k units sold, this is according to VGChartz who has posted their weekly sale figures. It’s up 22k units from last week.

In just three weeks, sales in the US have surpassed Europe where 174k units have been sold and Japan where 158k units have been sold. Not bad for a  limited release game that struggled to make it over here eh?

Also according to VGChartz, Xenoblade has sold 605k units world wide.

  • So I wonder what Nintendo thinks of these numbers, especially since their profit margin has to be pretty high since they didn’t truly “localize” the game. They just switched region encoding.

I’m guessing they are happy. I remember reading an email from Nintendo they sent somebody sometime ago and they said it seemed Xenoblade was going to be a hit. This was weeks before the release. They seemed enthusiastic. The game has sold 600k world wide. That’s pretty good. It will likely hit 700-800k all said and done.

Please don’t link to VGChartz.  Your little disclaimer is just a fancy way of saying ‘they make their numbers up’.  They’re frauds and don’t deserve the hits.

  • all riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!!!…

  • now we just gotta do this with the last story and pandora’s tower will hopefully be ours…i can’t find any direct numbers on fragile dreams…all i know is i has dat 2…still, it’s proof that nintendo WILL and CAN still make money over here…if you give us what we gamers want, we’ll support you…hopefully c(r)apcom will get the point too and release mega man legends 3 (and free dlc for mega man 9 and 10 to have slide and charge mega busters instead of a neutered mega man)…
